2018 Englewood Jazz Camp

Sign up by May 13 and receive a $15 discount!

Camp Features: Open to 7th-12th grade students with at least 9 months of playing experience on their instrument. Play with other musicians in a big band and jazz combo setting. Learn more about improvisation and jazz theory in daily classes from local area jazz musicians. The final day of camp will feature a recording session and a live evening performance at the Brew on Broadway (3445 S Broadway, Englewood, CO)

Tuesday (May 29)
8-9am: Introduction & Auditions
9-10: Theory/Improvisation Class/Jam Session
10-12: Big Band Rehearsal

Wednesday (May 30)
8-10am: Big Band Rehearsal
10-11: Theory/Improvisation Class/Jazz Combo
11-12: Big Band Rehearsal

Thursday (May 31)
8-10am: Big Band Rehearsal
10-11: Theory/Improvisation Class/Jazz Combo
11-12: Big Band Rehearsal

Friday (June 1)
8-9am: Big Band Rehearsal
9-12: Recording Session at Colorado's Finest High School of Choice Recording Studio
6:00pm: Performance at The Brew on Broadway
